REM Premiere New Single From New Album 'Collapse Into Now'

American rock stars R.E.M have put a new single, about a month and a half prior to their release of their brand spanking new album, set for a March 8th release.

‘Mine Smell Like Honey’ is the first official single to be released from their 15th album, titled ‘Collapse Into Now’, and is their first single since they put ‘Discoverer’ up for free download on their website. ‘Discoverer’ is, incidentally, the first track from ‘Collapse Into Now’, but won’t be released officially.

The legendary group recorded their album at different locations over the world, including Berlin and New Orleans – member Mike Mills has said "It's also fun for us to go to the cities we really love and spend some time. It's really important to go out, get great food, shrug off the debris of the day, and just be friends and have a good time. In Berlin you drink beer and eat wurst. In New Orleans you eat Cajun food and drink Sazerac.”

The single is available for download on iTunes now and you can preview the track below.
