Rock n roll legends Guns N Roses are still pleasing rock fans worldwide – and are now disappointing ‘Gleeks’ worldwide too.
In true rock star fashion, guitarist Slash has rejected attempts from the producers of Glee to use one of the band’s songs on the hit US show.
The band’s tracks are often used in TV or video games, but it Glee seemed a step too far for Slash – who had this to say about the musical TV series. "Glee is worse than Grease and Grease is bad enough. I look at Grease now and think between High School Musical and Glee, Grease was a work of art."
He then went on to talk about former Guns N Roses mate Axl Rose, saying "Axl has always in my mind been one of the best frontmen / lyricists in rock and roll, period. We may have had our differences and this and that and the other, but I will never undermine the fact that I thought Guns N' Roses, when it was originally together, was one of the best rock bands.”
Most recently, Guns N Roses songs appeared on hit video game Guitar Hero – with Slash included in the game himself, as a main character. But apparently, he is not very fond of musicals..NOTE FROM THE EDITOR We don't run any advertising!
