Frankie And The Heartstrings Release New Video For Track 'Hunger'

Five-piece band Frankie and the Heartstrings have a video for their new single ‘Hunger’.

The video pays homage to a well-known British children's television institution and stars Robert Popper (better known for his work with the IT Crowd, Peep Show and Peep Show) as the well-heeled host.

The Sunderland based band release their debut album 'Hunger' on the 21st of February. They have already made videos for two other singles on the LP, including ‘Ungrateful’ and ‘Tender’.

The brand new band have a debut tour scheduled too, kicking off on the 11th of February and running through to the 24th, stopping at Durham, Liverpool, London, Manchester, Newcastle, York and a few other cities across the UK.

The band only formed 2 years ago, in a Sunderland pub, with Frankie Francis, the pub landlord, and guitarist Michael McKnight. The two went on to join forces with Dave Harper, Steve Dennis and Pete Gofton.

You can see the band’s website here, and their new video below.
