Lady Gaga has shocked the public once again – this time by offending the Mexican community of Arizona.
The pop-star seems to leap from one controversy to another – she recently announced her perfume is to smell of blood and semen - and now Gaga has managed to upset the Arizonian Hispanics with the lyrics to her new single ’Born This Way’.
The use of the words ‘Chola’ and ‘Orient’ has apparently not gone down well with Latino organisations including Chicanos Unidos Arizona and MEChA, and is said to have infuriated the members of the groups, who claim the words have racist connotations.
The lyrics of the song seem to actually scream equality and appear to be the polar opposite of racist, but still, with the craziness of political correctness in today’s world, stories like this become common day occurrences.
The eccentric singer is also said to be performing the song at the Grammy Awards and – in another stunt sure to draw in the publicity – she is apparently getting Transsexuals to appear in the video alongside her.NOTE FROM THE EDITOR
