The Kings of Leon have announced that they will be cancelling their remaining tour dates, due to drummer Nathan Followill’s torn bicep.
The band had nine gigs left to play across South Africa and Australia, but have had to call them off, leaving the boys with nothing to do till they hit Coachella Festival on April 15th.
Nathan’s bicep was actually first injured sometime in late December/early January, but only now has it been bad enough for them to abandon the dates abroad.
The drummer only recently recovered from a bacterial infection which caused him to lose his voice during a European tour in December, but his bicep, which he is receiving rehabilitation for, is the only thing that has caused the band to pull out of an event previously.
There is also no word at the moment about the re-scheduling of the shows so far – find out first here for further news of Kings of Leon’s tour.
