Paul Heaton Announces Spring 2011 UK Tour Dates & Tickets

Currently celebrating 25 years since the release of his first ever hit single (The Housemartins’ glorious top 5 tune 'Happy Hour' was released in May 1986), Mr Paul Heaton releases a new single 'The Old Radio' on April 4th. 'The Old Radio' is taken from Paul’s acclaimed album 'Acid Country' which was released in September 2010.

2010 also saw Paul embark upon his much heralded ‘Pedals and Beer Pumps’ tour. These dates saw Paul travel to 16 pubs by bicycle, cycling over 1000 miles in the process and playing some of the best shows of this career. Starting off at the Rovers Return on Coronation Street and fitting in a quick date at the Woolpack in Emmerdale, the dates saw him highlighting the plight of local boozers and celebrating cycling as an environmentally friendly (and very healthy) method of touring.

Paul will be playing a 7 date UK sourjourn in Spring (sans bike) – dates are:

Mar 31st - Brighton Concorde
Apr 1st - London Koko
Apr 2nd - Leeds O2 Academy
Apr 3rd - Norwich Arts Centre
Apr 5th - Southampton Joiners
Apr 6th - Wolverhampton Slade Rooms
Apr 7th - Newcastle O2 Academy 2
