Pop’s most prolific eccentric Lady Gaga has finally unveiled her upcoming single, ‘Born This Way’.
After an extended teaser campaign on Twitter involving a gradual release of the song’s lyrics and artwork, Gaga debuted the song on BBC Radio 1 this morning and on celebrity blogger Perez Hilton’s website.
The song is a lively, thumping club tune featuring buzzsaw-synth hooks and spoken refrains. Harking back to early 00’s era Madonna, the track may not be the ground-breaking miracle that many fans were hoping for, but with soaring vocals and an impressively big beat it certainly does mark the return of Lady Gaga in style.
You can listen to the track, produced by Fernando Garibay, DJ White Shadow and Gaga herself below. Ground-breaking hit or ‘Fame’ on repeat? Feel free to tell us what you think of Gaga’s latest effort.
