Beady Eye are the latest act to be confirmed for this summer’s iTunes Festival. The band join the likes of Adele, Linkin Park, Duran Duran, White Lies and Rumer, who will all be gracing the Camden Roundhouse stage this July.
Formed from the shrapnel of the Oasis bust-up, Beady Eye are said to have done far more than just forage for musical scraps with their debut album ‘Different Gear, Still Speeding’. Scheduled for release on 28th February, the album is an impressive return to Liam Gallagher at his best as a songwriter.
Fans should enter the prize draw at www.itunesfestival.com for the chance to win tickets to the show, which will take place on July 5th at Camden Roundhouse. The performance will also be recorded and released as a live EP on iTunes soon after the gig.
As well as the iTunes Festival, Beady Eye are set to embark on a full-scale Irish and UK tour this April. The band will play the following tour dates:
April
11 – Rock City, Nottingham
12 – Guild of Students, Liverpool
14 – The Olympia Theatre, Dublin
