The Cribs to Begin Work On Fifth Album After Festival Season

Four piece indie outfit The Cribs have stated that they will start work on their fifth album after the end of the summer festival season.

Speaking through social networking site Twitter, the band first revealed that they would be headlining the Scottish festival RockNess, and then went on to talk about work on an album.

“Despite being on a break, The Cribs are not superhuman & still have to eat, therefore they will be playing a handful of Summer Festival shows.

“The first show to be announced this summer is RockNess Festival in Scotland where The Cribs headline the tent on Saturday night before heading into the studio to work on their 5th album.”

The band are yet to reveal all their festival slots either, with more expected to be announced within the next couple of months. A new album for the Cribs will be their first LP release since 2009’s ‘Ignore the Ignorant’.
