Warner Bros. Releasing Selection of Special Records for Record Store Day

Warner Bros. Records will release a selection of special vinyl releases to mark this year’s Record Store Day which will be held on April 16th later this year.

Highlights of this year’s roster of releases includes a series of 7” singles featuring recordings of a single song from a current Warner Bros. Records band and a legendary artist from the label’s back catalogue.

Over 150 UK record stores will participate in 2011’s Record Store Day.

The full list of Warner Bros Records releases is listed below:

Fleetwood Mac: ‘Rumours’ on single black vinyl and deluxe double 180 gram 45 rpm black vinyl.

Glassjaw: ‘Worship and Tribute’ black vinyl.

Green Day / Husker Du: ‘Don’t Want To Know If You Are Lonely’ 7” (Green Day on the a-side, Husker Du on the b-side).

Jenny and Johnny / Gram Parsons and the Fallen Angels: ‘Love Hurts’ 7” (Jenny and Johnny on the a-side, Gram Parsons on the b-side).

Mastodon / ZZ Top: ‘Just Got Paid’ 7” (Mastodon on the a-side, ZZ Top on the b-side)

Mastodon: ‘Live At The Aragon’ on 180 gram vinyl packaged with a DVD.

Red Hot Chili Peppers / The Ramones: ‘Havana Affair’ 7” (Red Hot Chili Peppers on the a-side, The Ramones on the b-side)

Regina Spektor: 7” vinyl, title TBC: A1 ‘Riot Gear’, A2 ‘The Sword & The Pen’, B1 ‘Time Is All Around’, B2 ‘Eet’ (live)

Tom Petty: ‘Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers’ coloured vinyl.

There have been a number of artists preparing for Record Store Day, including theFoo Fighters, Toddla T, and Gorillaz all releasing special records in celebration of the day.
