US folk band Vetiver have confirmed details of their forthcoming fifth album ‘The Errant Charm’, which is due for release on 13th June. ‘Can’t Tell You’ is the first track to be taken from the record and can be heard here. Vetiver have also revealed a number of UK tour dates in June and July to coincide with the album’s release. See below for dates and venues.
‘The Errant Charm’ is the follow-up to Vetiver’s critically-acclaimed fourth album ‘Tight Knit’, which was released in 2009. Singer-songwriter Andy Cabic, formerly of The Raymond Brake, founded Vetiver in San Fransisco after the break-up of his previous band. They released their eponymous debut in 2004 and have since gone on to tour with the likes of Devendra Banhart. Cabic also co-produced Banhart’s album ‘Cripple Crow’ in 2005.
