Following the success of her recently completed, sold out US solo tour, and the subsequent release of her acoustic mini-album the Scarlet Tulip EP, we are pleased to announce that KT Tunstall will embark on a solo tour of the UK this Autumn.

The Scarlet Tulip EP showcases KT’s songwriting in it’s rawest, most stripped back and intimate form, using just her stunning voice and finger picked acoustic guitar across seven new songs. It's acoustic simplicity makes it an intriguing companion to the ‘nature-techno’ of current album ‘Tiger Suit’ which charted in the top 5 of the UK album chart in October 2010. Recorded completely live in one take in her solar-powered studio in the woods in the English county-side, and recorded and co-produced by KT with her husband and drummer, Luke Bullen, The Scarlet Tulip EP sees KT going back to her acoustic folk roots and also displays an incredibly versatile side to her talents asa vocalist.
These new tour dates will allow KT’s fans to see her perform in some of the most intimate, unique venues she’s played for many years, including London’s Union Chapel. She will be performing a variety of songs from her extensive back catalogue, as well as a handful of tracks from the Scarlet Tulip EP, with the help of her trusted loop pedals, drum machines, tambourines, keyboards and any other instruments that come to hand along the way. KT plays the following dates:

‘The Scarlet Tulip EP’ is available now on digital download, CD and 10” vinyl via www.kttunstall.com. The EP will be sold on the merchandise stalls on tour and via the website only.
