Roger Waters Has 'No Wish' For Pink Floyd Reunion

Ex-Pink Floyd bassist Roger Water’s has dampened hopes of a Pink Floyd reunion, after it emerged he has “no wish” to return to work with the band.
Waters is currently travelling Europe as part of his ‘The Wall Live’ tour, in which he plays through the whole of the Wall, and was recently joined on stage in London by bandmates David Gilmour and Nick Mason, which sparked rumours of a possible comeback of the band among fans worldwide.
But Water’s has killed off any hope of at least a full get-together, as he told BBC Radio 4 he wouldn’t be making a return.
“I'm really glad that I was in that band for the 20 years that I was in it and I really enjoyed it. I think we did some great work together but I have no wish to do it ever again.”
Fans will be desperately unhappy at the news, as Pink Floyd came so close to a reformation last year when they were confirmed to play a charity concert, until they realised it would be held at Jemima Khan’s house.
It was also hoped that the band would maybe play one last show, as a tour was even more unlikely than a reformation, but it now looks as though those in attendance at Live 8 six years ago may have seen the last performance with Waters involved.
