Saint Saviour Prepares For London XOYO Headline Show & Tickets

Prior to a run of festival appearances and a Somerset House show with Hurts, Saint Saviour will shortly play her only headline gig of the summer at Shoreditch’s XOYO.

Saint Saviour received high praise for her recent debut tour where she added contemporary dancers, Japanese styling and an ambitious projection show to the vocal performance Jo Whiley described as ‘jaw dropping’.

Saint Saviour promises to showcase a number of the new songs she has written for her second EP release at this one-off show and will be joined by a trio of backing singers in Salena Mastroianni, Lauren Johnson and Izzy Philmore who can easily hold their own as solo performers.

Having headlined Glastonbury’s John Peel stage last year and sold out two consecutive Brixton Academy shows as the lead singer of Groove Armada Saint Saviour is no stranger to big crowds but she says she is looking forward to XOYO’s intimate setting and playing to her own fans.

In March this year Saint Saviour released her debut EP titled ‘Anatomy’. One song from the EP ‘This Ain’t No Hymn’ was supported on both 6 Music by Tom Robinson and on Radio 1 by both Jo Wiley and Fearne Cotton. A second song from the release, ‘Reasons’, was recently chosen by Adam Buxton for his Bug night at the BFI. A second EP is planned for this summer, preceding an album in 2012.
