Editors will tour the UK and Europe early next year.
Following UK and European festival sets throughout the summer, the Birmingham band will travel across mainland Europe first, kicking off the trek on January 26 in Rouen, France and concluding it on February 20 in Hamburg, Germany.
The UK and Ireland leg will run from February 28 to March 12, calling in Dublin, Belfast, Glasgow, Newcastle, Manchester, Leeds, Nottingham, Bristol, Southampton and London, where they'll headline the O2 Academy Brixton.
As part of their summer schedule for this year, they've also announced a new show opening the new Warehouse venue at Villa Park in Birmingham on July 9.
Tickets for all dates go on general sale at 10am BST/11am CEST on May 1. Support acts have not yet been revealed.
Alongside the tour announcement, Editors have shared the new single Call It In, their first since the release of their latest album, 2022's 'EBM'. Watch its video below, directed by the band’s guitarist Justin Lockey. Smith said:
“We spent a lot of summer ‘25 holed up in rural Gloucestershire, working on songs with all of us in a room, in a more traditional band set up. ‘Call It In’ is one of the newest songs we worked on, it’s a song about asking for help, really, in the presence of an existential dread, finding solace and comfort in someone close, escaping the deafening noise of modern life.”
Smith, meanwhile, put out his debut solo album, 'There Is Nothing In The Dark Which Isn’t There In The Light', last December and supported it with a UK and European tour earlier this spring.
