Coldplay unveiled a new track ‘Major Minus’ online last night (June 23rd) and a second ‘Moving To Mars’ today (June 24th). The English four-piece have confirmed that ‘Major Minus’ will be the second song to be taken from their upcoming ‘Every Teardrop Is A Waterfall’ EP, which is scheduled for digital release on June 26th. You can listen to both songs at the bottom of this article.
The band are yet to confirm if ‘Major Minus’ or their previous track ‘Every Teardrop Is A Waterfall’ will feature on their upcoming fifth LP, however both tracks were performed alongside other new material at their recent headline Rock Am Ring performance, a slot which was described by the band’s roadie as “rapturous”.
With three songs unveiled to the public in less than a month, it would appear that the ‘In My Place’ rockers want the crowd acquainted with their new material before they headline Glastonbury festival tomorrow night.
As well as a headline performance at Glastonbury, Coldplay are set to perform at this year’s T In The Park festival and the London iTunes festival.
