Indie rockers Hard-Fi have unveiled a brand new single, set for an August 15th release date, as well as confirming the name of their incoming third album as ‘Killer Sounds’.
Following suit from April’s ‘Good for Nothing’, ‘Fire in the House’ was premiered by Radio 1’s Zane Lowe who described it as the ‘hottest record in the world’. Since then it’s received countless plays from all the big name radio stations, including XFM, Absolute Radio and Kerrang! You can hear the new track in the video below.
Produced by the Music Week’s Producer of the Year Stuart Price, the single is also being treated to a host of remixes which will be available to purchase, including a remix from world-renowned Dutch super DJ Tiesto.
The four-piece from Staines have been busy working on their third studio album for the past eighteen months, which is set for release on August 22. The album, suitably titled ‘Killer Sounds’, was co-produced by the band’s frontman, Richard Archer, with assistance from big names such as Stuart Price (Killers, Madonna), Grey Kurstin (Lily Allen) and Alan Moulder (Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Killers) and recorded in Staines’ Cherry Lips studios as well as Los Angeles.
With the band’s million-selling debut, ‘Stars of CCTV’, the number 1 follow up, ‘Once Upon A Time In The West’ and two BRIT award nominations (2006’s ‘Best British Group’ and ‘Best British Rock Act’) already under their belts ,Hard-Fi are set to reign the charts once again. And not without a tour!
Hard-Fi have announced a tour of the UK in September – for dates and ticket details see below.
