Rebecca Black Returns With New Single And E.P

Bad news for musical purists and anyone with a sensitive set of ears – Rebecca Black has revealed that she has recorded a follow-up to her ‘hit’ Friday – which she will release prior to a five song E.P. which will see release in August.

‘My Moment’ is the second single to be sung by the American school-girl, and will be debuted on her YouTube channel this July 18th. Hopefully this time the song will feature less shameful lyrics like ‘Gotta have my bowl, Gotta have cereal’, as the new track was written by Justin Bieber collaborator Brandon Hamilton. Not that Justin Bieber is much of an improvement.

With a five-track E.P in the pipeline, things could actually be on the up for the notorious singer, who was cyber-bullied and ridiculed worldwide after her admittedly painful previous attempt at a single. Accompanied by a video, this new track is said to document her “sudden rise to fame” and has been described as a “a fairytale story, but it happened in real life.”. I don’t know about you but I can’t recall many fairytale stories where the main character was one of the most hated people in the world for a week...

The E.P is due for a self-release later this summer... stay tuned to Stereoboard for more information, or for a potential (god-help) Rebecca Black tour!
