Man/Woman/Chainsaw Tease Debut Album 'Cannonball' With New Single Get Up And Dance

Man/Woman/Chainsaw have shared a new track, Get Up and Dance.
Paring synth and strings, the theatrical offering serves as the fourth single from the London art-punk's debut album, 'Cannonball', and the first to feature Emmie-Mae Avery on lead vocals. She said:
"In my mind it's set in a club, where you spot someone who’s been trying their luck with different people all night and decide to turn the game back on them. It starts playful but then takes a forceful approach, as you push them to prove their interest and test how far they’ll go, aiming to have them make a fool of themselves."
It follows the sextet's earlier singles Goddamn, Lizard Man!, Nosedive and Only Girl in previewing the record ahead of its August 7 release via Fiction Records.
Man/Woman/Chainsaw have several UK and European festival dates scheduled this summer, including appearances at Deer Shed and Latitude next month, followed by a series of new in-store dates across the country. They'll also embark on a headline UK and Ireland tour in September and October in support of the LP, before playing their first US dates later in the autumn. Tickets are on sale now.
