The Maccabees Announce Two Bestival Warm-Up Shows & Tickets

Indie, post-punk band The Maccabees have announced two Bestival warm-up dates for September.
The Maccabees and their take on New Wave sounds is refreshingly individual and exciting, with original lyrics and catchy tunes. The band have released two albums so far, 'Colour It In' in 2007, with a follow-up, 'Wall of Arms', released on 4th May 2009.
Named as headliners for the Shockwaves NME Awards Tour 2010 with Bombay Bicycle Club, The Big Pink and The Drums in February 2010, The Maccabees have since stepped-out of the spotlight. The band debuted new song 'Child' in Brighton in August 2010 as well as playing the Main Stage at the Reading & Leeds festival of that year. Another new song, titled 'Forever I've Known', has also been played live displaying what seems to be a darker, deeper sound for the band.
Confirmed for this year's Bestival, The Maccabees have announced two warm-up shows in Newquay and Exeter. Full details are listed below.

Sept 8th – Lusty Glaze Beach, Newquay
Sept 9th – Phoenix, Exeter
