The Maccabees have announced some big outdoor UK shows for next summer.
The South London band will begin the run at London's Alexandra Palace Park on July 9, before headlining the Eden Sessions in St Austell on July 11, Siren Bristol on July 23, On The Beach Brighton on July 25 and Kirkstall Abbey on July 31. Tickets go on general sale at 10am on November 28.
Last autumn, the indie-rockers confirmed they were reuniting following an indefinite hiatus that began in 2017. They headlined a show for this year's All Points East in August, prior to which they toured the UK and Ireland throughout the summer, as well as appearing at Glastonbury festival. The shows saw them celebrating the 10th anniversary of their number one album, 'Marks To Prove It'.
Guitarist Felix White said: “The year we’ve just had was so special to all of us, and so unexpected, that it has put some momentum in everyone collectively …. and who wouldn’t want to do all that again.”
