Charlie Simpson Unveils New Single With Five Track EP

Ex-Busted star Charlie Simpson has revealed the details of his second solo single, following the release of ‘Down Down Down’ earlier this year.
Written by Charlie, ‘Parachutes’, will see release on August 8th and is currently play-listed at Radio 1, XFM and Kerrang among others. Charlie’s deftly crafted sonics and earnest lyrics showcase his maturity as a cherished British songwriter. The release will come as a five-track EP, and follows Charlie’s first headline tour which encompassed sold out shows in Glasgow, Manchester, Newcastle, Birmingham and Bristol.
The EP bundle includes two original songs ‘Skin and Bones’ and ‘Dead Man Walking’, and two alternate versions of ‘Parachutes’- one from Charlie’s astonishing debut solo gig at the Tabernacle in London and another intimate stripped back arrangement of the song performed with a live band in the studio.
