Evanescence Announce UK Tour & Tickets

Having teased fans earlier this month with a snipped of one of their tracks from their upcoming third album, US rock band Evanescence have announced their fist UK tour in four years.

The ‘Bring Me to Life’ singers uploaded a short clip of new track, 'The Other Side’, onto YouTube earlier this month. The new album is to be titled 'Evanescence' and is due out on October 11th to coincide with the US and European tour. Support on the UK trek comes from The Pretty Reckless and Fair To Midland

Evanescence UK Tour Dates are as follows:

November 2011

Nov 4th - London, HMV Hammersmith Apollo
Nov 7th - Manchester, Apollo
Nov 8th - Glasgow, Academy
Nov 10th - Plymouth, Pavilions
Nov 12th - Leeds, Academy
Nov 13th - Birmingham, Academy

Evanescence Tickets are onsale from 9am on Friday 29th July.

Speaking about new track 'The Other Side', singer Amy Lee told MTV News. “I wrote it with the guys. It was a real collaborative effort. That was a hard one for me to write the lyrics for, because I had the chorus, which is very epic and dramatic; but the verses have that element of fun, so I'm like: 'How do I sing about death in a way that's sort of bitchy?”
