Seasick Steve has revealed he will play live this Autumn confirming dates for shows in London, Manchester and Glasgow. More dates could be announced soon!
For those who haven’t seen this man play live, Seasick Steve is the real deal. Having learnt about the hobo lifestyle early on in life (via many a freight train), Steve 'Seasick' Wold has developed a vivid and wholly authentic folk-blues style which he has been using since the 1970s.
Check out the video to Seasick's new song 'You Can't Teach An Old Dog New Tricks', which is available on his latest album of the same name.
The “song and dance man”, friend of Kurt Cobain and contemporary of legendary figures of the music world such as Janis Joplin and Joni Mitchell, has confirmed Autumn shows in October.
Confirmed to perform at both the Reading and Leeds festivals on August Bank Holiday, Seasick Steve is certainly a man who likes to travel so expect more dates to be announced soon.
Seasick Steve UK Tour Dates are as follows:
October 2011
Oct 8th – Hammersmith Apollo, London
Oct 10th – O2 Academy, Manchester
Oct 11th – Academy, Glasgow
Seasick Steve Tickets are onsale from 9am on Friday 29th July.
