Kelly Clarkson Forms New Girl Band 'Already Famous'

American singer-songwriter Kelly Clarkson has formed a new all-girl singing group – with her touring back-up singers.

Clarkson has been writing and recording songs with Jill and Kate, the two back-up singers the star has been taking on tour with her for almost five years. They get along brilliantly, sound great together and have now finally decided to record some of the stuff they’ve written over the years – under the moniker ‘Already Famous’.

The Texan singer wrote on Twitter: “I'm off to Oklahoma to record some songs with @jillandkate! I love random writing and recording with friends!

“We've been writing & singing together 4 over 4 years so we thought why not record it. We love singing harmony!”

The ‘Since U Been Gone’ singer also revealed that it wouldn’t just be her at the forefront of the group, and that they would be sharing lead singing parts equally – writing “We all sing lead, alto, and soprano at different points.”

After their hard work in the studio, the trio posted a few pictures and tweeted their sound engineer, Jarod Evans, who replied to them saying "twas awesome. you guys wrote some amazing tunes! ready for round 2!”

Nothing is official yet and it is unknown whether any of these recordings will be published or released – but Stereoboard will let you know if they are.
