Cher Lloyd's Swagger Jagger Heading for No1 in UK Charts

X-Factor is set to churn out another #1 hit this week as ex-finalist Cher Lloyd’s new single ‘Swagger Jagger’ looks primed to hit the top of the charts this weekend.

The track is the first to be taken from the singer’s debut album and it is her first official release ever, and although a leaked demo of the song received mixed reviews, it looks as though Swagger Jagger will reach the dizzy heights of #1. JLS and Dev’s ‘She Makes Me Wanna’ is the current number one but Cher and her swag have managed to shift over 30,000 copies of the CD since its release on Sunday.

The rest of the chart is made up of The Wanted, Ed Sheeran’s debut ‘The A Team’, and DJ Fresh’s dubstep-fuelled hit ‘Louder’. Promising Brighton duo Rizzle Kicks, who are quickly making a name for themselves, look like they could chart high this week following great sales of their track ‘Down with the Trumpets’.

Following her tragic death two weeks ago, Amy Winehouse’s highly celebrated album Back to Black will likely spend another week on top of the album charts, closely followed by her original album Frank at #3.
