Noel Gallagher Unveils ‘If I Had A Gun’ – Listen Now

Noel Gallagher has unveiled another track from his upcoming debut solo album, ‘Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds’. Following on from lead single ‘The Death Of You And Me’, ‘If I Had A Gun’ is an equally restrained affair, where the big rock riffs have been abandoned for slowly-building atmospherics and pensive lyrics.

The album is scheduled for release on October 17th, and rather than signing a major label deal, Noel has opted to release the LP through his own company Sour Mash Records. ‘Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds’ was recorded over the past 12 months during sessions in both London and Los Angeles.

The album, which is said to contain many tracks written by Noel Gallagher during his Oasis years, will also be released in North America in early November. The band will also embark on a US tour and perform their American television debut on the Late Show With David Letterman on November 10th.

Despite not having yet released his debut LP, Gallagher has also revealed that his second album, recorded with Amorphous Androgynous, will be released at some point next year.
