Jessie J Left Devastated After Being Forced to Pull Out of Katy Perry Tour

R&B singer Jessie J was left devastated yesterday as she had to pull out of her dates with superstar Katy Perry following a bone transplant in her foot.

Jessie was lined-up to support Perry on her North American tour which would have seen her performing at five gigs across the US, but was forced to step out after her foot failed to heal in time. ‘Starry Eyed’ singer Ellie Goulding has been drafted in to replace J.

“Having a cry about having to pull out of the Katy Perry tour,” Jessie wrote through her Twitter. “I am as upset as my #heartbeats (sic) believe me. My foot is just not healing as well as I hoped.”

Katy Perry let fans know about the change through her Twitter, writing “Please welcome @elliegoulding to the #CaliforniaDreamsTour this November! @jessiejofficial hope you feel better soon!”

And, not to be left out of the tweeting trend, Ellie Goulding announced her addition to the tour with a tweet to fans.

“Can't wait!!!!!! xxx" before adding: "Never thought I would ever play Madison Square Garden, and now I am. Thank you @katyperry megababe x.”
