Elbow Announce Special BBC Radio 2 Concert At Manchester Cathedral

Mercury Music Prize winners Elbow have announced plans to play a special show at Manchester's Cathedral for BBC Radio 2 on October 27th. Elbow will be joined by The Halle Youth Choir and details on how to obtain tickets for the show will be revealed on Radio 2 from 8pm (GMT) on 6th October.
After a hugely successful Summer festival circuit, this new Elbow show will see the band perform tracks from their Mercury-nominated album 'Build A Rocket Boys!', which peaked at Number Two on the UK album chart earlier this year.
Support at the show, which fans can listen to via BBC Radio 2, through the BBC Red Button Service or via the Radio 2 website, comes from local unsigned band The Slow Slow were were uncovered by BBC Introducing.
