Grammy award-winning Soul singer Jill Scott has announced two late Autumn UK shows.
Raised in North Philadelphia, Jill Scott is destined to be filed under 'Soul Legends' in years to come. Fusing jazz, R&B, spoken word and hip-hop into her vocals, her distinct style has been referred to as “neo soul”.
Jill Scott released her fourth studio album, 'The Light of the Sun', in June of this year and the the album debuted at Number One on the US Bilboard 200 Chart. Selling 135,000 copies in it's first week, 'The Light of he Sun' spawned two singles, received a huge amount of acclaim and is Scott's first US Number One.
Jill Scott will visit the UK late next month for two shows, one in London and another in Manchester.
