Nero are one of the biggest names in the dubstep and drum and bass genre and they are well on their way to superstardom with hit single after hit single.
'Crush On You' is the fourth single to be released from their number one album ‘Welcome Reality’ following on from blockbuster singles ‘Promises’, ‘Guilt’ and ‘Me and You’. Crush samples the vocals of an old 80’s boogie/disco song by The Jets, and uses futuristic synths combined with a huge drum beat to update the song from the 80’s and push it all the way through past the present day and into what can only be described as futuristic pop. This is the sort of brilliance that many have come to expect from the duo and 'Crush On You' is another that is sure to be a smash record.
After a busy summer of festivals performing at ’Glastonbury, Reading and Leeds, Bestival and Wireless’ amongst others, the duo are currently on their debut live tour which began on October the 8th and has seen them perform all over the country including a headline slot at the ‘Electric Ballroom’ on the 18th of October.
It doesn’t stop there for the Londoners who were tipped for stardom as part of the BBC’s Sound of 2011 poll and they are proving that they deserve to be on that list and various other tip lists for 2011 with great performances at every show. Which has now led them to supporting arguably Britain’s biggest break out star in the last 5 years ‘Tinie Tempah’ on his Autumn arena tour.
