Noel Gallagher Rejects 2015 Oasis Reunion Proposal

After releasing his band’s debut album and selling-out his first run of shows with them, Noel Gallagher has told his loud-mouthed brother Liam that Oasis WON’T be reforming any time soon.
We wrote yesterday that Liam wanted a 2015 Oasis reunion to celebrate 20 years since the release of their most successful album ‘What’s the Story, Morning Glory’ – admitting he’d have to patch it up with his not-so-close brother Noel. Now, in a move that’s likely to leave a very bitter taste in Liam’s mouth, Noel has rejected the idea and said he “left the band for a reason.”
Liam had told press last week that he’d fancy a 2015 reunion, saying “There's a lot of talk of him going into interviews saying it'd be great to get back together in 2015 and do the Morning Glory tour and I'm down with that. We've got another Beady Eye record to make, then have a year off, then I'm down for a 2015 reunion with my beautiful brother Noel Gallagher.”
But, after seeing a healthy amount of success with The High Flying Birds, Noel replied: “He's got my permission to go and play it. He can play it if he wants. I don't mind. I left that band for a reason and that reason still stands.”
The star went on to tell of how he knew about the Stones Roses reunion a while back but was unable to tell anyone.
“We'd known for a while and were sworn to secrecy,” Noel admitted. “It's great for the fans and for them and nice feeling just to see them together after so long. I love them as friends and as a band.”
