The Presidents Of The United States Of America Announce March 2012 UK Tour

Grammy-nominated Seattle rockers The Presidents of the United States of America have announced a handful of UK shows that will see the band perform their self-titled debut album in it's entirety.

Forming during the post-grunge years, The Presidents of the United States of America were distinctly different from most of the bands on the Seattle alternative scene. They created their music, injecting a unique sense of humour, with songs such as 'Lump' and 'Peaches' becoming either annoyingly catchy or endearingly hummable.

The band split in 1997 and briefly reformed for a few years in 2000, returning again in 2004. The Presidents of the United States will visit the UK in March 2012 to play out their eponymous debut in it's entirety. Five UK dates have been confirmed so far, however, more dates are expected to be announced over the coming weeks.

The Presidents of the United States of America UK Tour Dates are as follows:

Mar 8th - O2 Academy Bristol
Mar 9th - Wulfrun Hall, Wolverhamptonr
Mar 10th - Ritz, Manchester
