Kasabian To Tour Inside Giant Orange

English rockers Kasabian have revealed that the set for their forthcoming winter UK tour will look pretty much like a giant orange!

The innovative new design may seem like a random idea but the giant orange will actually be hooked up to a specifically designed lighting system which will glow brighter and brighter as the crowd get louder and louder – or get dimmer if the crowd are a bit quiet.

“Serge and Aitor Throup, who did our album artwork, and a guy called Nick who's a fucking genius at lighting, came up with it,” frontman Tom Meighan explained. “It's going to look great. The idea that the stage will react to fans will be cool. It's never been done.”

The band have had a less then lively couple of years but are looking to get back to their old ways, and are feeling great about their new album ‘Velociraptor!’ – saying it was an ‘easy’ album to make.

“It's pretty exciting. We want to get in the stride of playing live again. Making the album was easy. Now it's two years of touring.”
