Summer Camp Announce March 2012 Tour Dates & Tickets

Following the release of their debut album ‘Welcome to Condale’ at the end of last month, London-based duo Summer Camp have announced some UK tour dates for March 2012 in support of the album – see below for details and tickets.

Last week, the pair released new single ‘Down’, which is the latest to be taken from the album following last month’s ‘Better Off Without You’. Watch the music video for ‘Down’ below.

Following in the footsteps of artists such as Funeral for a Friend, The Subways and The Blackout, Summer Camp – who are made up of Jeremy Warmsley and Elizabeth Sankey – turned to Pledge Music to ask fans to make pledges towards the funding of ‘Welcome to Condale’. A percentage of the funds will go to the London homeless charity Shelter From The Storm.

On ‘Welcome to Condale’, Summer Camp worked with Pulp bassist Steve Mackey, who has previously produced for artists including Florence and the Machine and MIA.

The duo are currently partway through their current UK tour, with dates in London, Canterbury and Brighton still to go. They are also set to support The Vaccines at the band’s O2 Academy Brixton show on 8th December.
