Music Videos 'So Sexual These Days', Says Gary Barlow

Take That’s Gary Barlow seems to have matured from popstar to perfect person nowadays – and now he’s even slammed today’s media for overly sexualising music videos, causing X-Factor auditions to become even more raunchy each year.

Barlow is unhappy at the amount of rude and unnecessary music videos and tracks that are part of the pop music scene at the moment, and told OK! Magazine that he’s previously had to stop his young children watching and singing along to music, including one particular Black Eyed Peas song.

“Music videos these days are so sexual,” Barlow explained. “The other day, I wanted some music in the kitchen and put on one of the music TV channels and a video came on which was so rude that I had to turn it off because my nine-year-old was with me.

“It all filters down. We had girls auditioning for The X Factor and you wouldn’t believe the kind of moves they were doing. I sat there and thought, Jesus Christ. I have had five nine-year-olds in my back seat singing along to Black Eyed Peas songs with ‘F’ this, ‘F’ that and I’m like: ‘Right, I’m stopping the car!”

While the Black Eyed Peas may have a bit of a sultry song or two, we can bandmate Robbie William’s behaviour is something Barlow must have to look out for quite often with his children!
