Under The Driftwood Tree Release 'If Only If'

Cardiff-based Surf Folk band Under the Driftwood Tree have today released the first single to be taken from their currently untitled debut album.

‘If Only If’ is the first single to be released both physically and digitally by the band, which have appeared on BBC Radio 1’s Introducing show as well as an ‘In Session’ show. They’ve also appeared on Sky’s talent show Must Be The Music.

The band, which consists of Chris Stoodley, Robbie Price, Kathryn Shanahan, Alex Perry, and Samuel Lloyd Griffiths, began playing regularly at popular live music venues in Cardiff and were the Welsh winners of the Surface Unsigned Festival in 2009, shortlisted from 30,000 applicants. They also performed at IndigO2 in the The O2 in London. Last June Under the Driftwood Tree performed at The Eden Sessions with Jack Johnson in Cornwall.

More information on the album can be found on their Facebook, and you can check out their ‘Introducing’ show with Fearne Cotton below.

'If Only If' is available to purchase from iTunes HERE.
