LA rockers 30 Seconds to Mars have reassured fans that they won’t be breaking-up now that they’ve finished their two year world tour, regardless of earlier claims that they were unsure about their future.
The band have played over 300 shows in the past two years, rocking out venues in countless cities and countries - but some fans thought that the end of the tour might have meant the end of the band. But frontman Jared Leto has come to save their fan’s tears, and has confirmed that the band will be staying around for at least a little bit longer.
“I think there has been a question mark there for all of us,” Leto told Kerrang. “In part because people started to ask us so much about the future and our reaction is, 'Well, let's talk about the here and now'. Which is important to us. We don't know what the future has to hold, but we know we're excited about it and this tour has been the gift of a lifetime.
“It's been a journey that we'll always look back on, as one of the most informative and fulfilling experiences of our lives. Over two years we've been pursuing this quest, travelling every continent besides one, playing over 300 shows, winning and losing and fighting and being at peace.”
