German progressive instrumentalists Long Distance Calling are set to hit the road with Protest The Hero, Blood Command and Uneven Structure this March with seven dates in the UK and Ireland.
The quintet had a great 2011 following the release of their stunning self-titled second album, which featured guest appearances from both John Bush (Armored Saint) and Jonas Renske (Katatonia). The album went in the German charts at Number Thirty-Six, and they followed that with three successful headlining runs, including a short visit to the UK in March and some shows with Amplifier. The forthcoming March shows will the bands first visit to these shores since those dates.
2nd March – Cardiff University
3rd March – O2 Academy, Birmingham
4th March – Corporation, Sheffield
6th March - Whelans, Dublin
7th March – Club Academy, Manchester
8th March – O2 ABC2, Glasgow
9th March – O2 Academy Islington, London
