Puddle Of Mudd Singer Wes Scantlin Arrested On Drugs Charge

Wes Scantlin, frontman of veteran grunge rockers Puddle of Mudd, may have to ‘Come Clean’ this spring – after it was revealed he was arrested and bailed over a drugs charge last month.
The 39 year-old was travelling in his car when he was pulled over in Culver City, California on January 12th, because of a traffic violation. After performing a stop and search, police officers found a bag of powder and a number of pills – and arrested the star.
Scantlin has already been charged with the possession of the controlled substance, and ended up paying bail of $10,000 – but has refused to comment on the episode as of yet.
The singer is apparently in the middle of divorcing his wife and reportedly behind on his tax payments – equating to a pretty bad month or two for Scantlin.
