Placebo have announced they will take to the stage on the 28th April to headline the prestigious Sundance Film and Music Festival in London. The show at IndigO2 is completely sold out, however fans will now have the chance to see the band perform at two intimate 'warm-up' shows prior to the London date.
Once described by frontman Brian Molko as “A band for outsiders, for outsiders”, Placebo have sold over 10 million records, recorded six studio albums and have seemingly been touring the world consistently for the past 10 years.
Speaking about the London show, Placebo commented: "As a band, we follow our own philosophy of making the music we want to make, putting faith in our songs and records. The Sundance Film Festival has been championing similar like-minded people for over 30 years and encouraging them to put faith in their own talent. We're huge film fans and delighted to be part of the inaugural Sundance London festival."
Placebo head back to the studio this year to record their seventh studio album.
