Killing Joke Announce Full Album Details

Post-punk rockers Killing Joke have announced the full details of their forth-coming 15th studio album ‘2012’.

The band have set the release date for the new record a April 2nd, and it’ll feature ten brand new tracks from the metalheads – all of which were apparently inspired by various different theories involving the end of the world, hence the title ‘2012’. A full tracklisting for the album can be seen below.

To coincide with the release, the band has lined-up a tasty tour for March later this year, which will see them kick things off in Exeter’s Lemon Grove on March 4th. With dates in London, Manchester, Glasgow, Norwich Wolverhampton and Oxford, you can purchase tickets now through Stereoboard.com.

Killing Joke's brand of dark, uncompromising music that spawned tracks such as 'Requiem', 'Love Like Blood' and 'Fire Dances' became synonymous with the British new-wave and post-punk movement from the late 1970 to the mid 1980s. Now armed with a more industrial-rock sound, Joke's most recent album 'Absolute Dissent' surfaced at the end of 2010.
