Clarence Clemons Replaced By Nephew Jack For Bruce Springsteen And E Street Band World Tour

Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band are set to draft in the nephew of late saxophonist Clarence Clemons as the new touring sax player, it has been revealed.

ImageLegendary tenor saxist Clemons passed away after a stroke last year in June, but the band has been very secretive and quiet over who would be asked to replace him. Now, singer Springsteen has taken to Facebook to confirm for the first time that it will, in fact, be Jack Clemons who plays the sax alongside Eddie Manion for any up and coming ‘Wrecking Ball’ world tour.

Springsteen’s Facebook post post read: “The expanded line-up for this Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band tour features singers Cindy Mizelle and Curtis King, trombonist Clark Gayton and trumpeter Curt Ramm, all of whom have toured with Bruce Springsteen in the past along with newcomer Barry Danielian on trumpet. E Street stalwart Eddie Manion and first time tour member Jake Clemons will share the saxophone role.”
