Singer-Songwriter Kate McGill Announces Summer UK Tour

Welsh singer, songwriter Kate McGill has announced plans to hit the road this May and June for a UK tour.
Born in Carmarthen, West Wales, Kate McGill is now based in Plymouth having studied Theatre and Performance at the city's university. Turning her attention to a music career she is best known for her cover of Adele's 'Someone Like You', which has had over 3 million views as of January 2012.
She first reached YouTube stardom with her cover of Bright Eyes' 'Landlocked Blues' in November 2007. Since then Kate has notched up over 2.7 million views on her channel, which has made her the thirteenth most subscribed musician on YouTube.
In 2011 she released her debut album 'Replaced' and performed songs from the album live in 34 Caffe Nero stores across the UK. Stereoboard caught up with Kate whilst she was in Oxford for a quick chat, you can read what she had to say here.
