Marcus Collins Showcases 'Seven Nation Army' B-Side

Marcus Collins, runner-up on the eighth series of the X-Factor, will be releasing his debut single (a cover of the White Stripes’ infamous ‘Seven Nation Army) on March 4th – and has now given fans the first look at the track’s B-side ‘Break These Chains’.

Having wowed audiences with his unique sound and style in the latest series of X Factor, Marcus Collins is set to release his debut single ‘Seven Nation Army’ on March 4th. The single has been taken from his eponymous album ‘Marcus Collins’, which hits shelves on March 12th, and fans can now take a listen to the next track lifted from the record – check it out below.

Speaking of his decision to cover the world-famous ‘Seven Nation Army’, Collins said: “I’ve always been a fan of the original version of ‘Seven Nation Army’ and hope people like my take on it. I’m so happy to be releasing my debut album. I’ve worked on my music every minute possible since I came out of the show and can’t wait for everyone to be able to hear it.”

As well as his original tracks, the album will feature three stand out covers including the single; ‘Your Love Is Lifting Me Higher’ by Jackie Wilson – one of his best performances on X Factor; and ‘Tightrope’ by Janelle Monae who is a huge inspiration to Marcus.

Fans can catch Marcus perform live as he hits the road on the X Factor tour throughout February, March and April. Check the dates and details below to grab yourself a pair of tickets for the tour.
