Whitney Houston Death To Be Named As 'Accidental'

The death of late singing superstar Whitney Houston is to be treated as accidental, a report from sources close to the investigation suggests.

Houston was found dead in her hotel bathtub on the eve of the Grammy Award ceremony back in February, with the most believing that the star had suffered from a drug overdose. While foul play was never really a suspicion for police or investigators, officials have apparently now out-ruled the idea that Houston took her own life – and are classing the death as accidental.

Physicians have, according to E! News, declared ‘nothing suspicious’ has been found that would connect anyone suspects to the case and added that ‘she has no marks on her body whatsoever to indicate a struggle, and she was the furthest thing from trying to kill herself.’

The investigation is still underway, with most officials waiting on the results of a toxicology test which will most likely confirm that Houston died because of an overdose, which the star’s family believe was to blame. Sources say that the results could be in by next week – so stay with Stereoboard to find out just exactly how Houston passed away at age 48.
