Superstar singer Madonna is a figure known for her longevity – and has now revealed that she still has no plans to quit music any time soon.
Madge is on the verge of releasing her latest album, the controversially-titled ‘MDNA’, on March 26th, but still reckons that she has hours and hours of material left in her head which she’ll be turning into singles and albums for years to come. And, until she runs out of those ideas, she’ll be an ever-present force in the music scene.
“I guess I love doing what I do,” Madonna told The Sun. I have a voice, I have opinions, I have things I wanna say. I love music, I love telling stories. So I guess as long as I feel that way I'll keep doing what I'm doing.”
Yesterday Madonna revealed her disgust at fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld’s ’horrible comments’ about soul singer Adele. Madonna said: “That's horrible. That's ridiculous, that's just the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard. I don't like it when anybody says anything bad about anyone – I don't like it. Adele's a great talent and how much she weighs has nothing to do with it.”
Madonna will perform in London’s Hyde Park this July, as well as putting on shows in Edinburgh and Dublin. If you need tickets, check the dates and details below.
