Jessie J Reportedly Set To Pen Autobiography

Pop singer-songwriter Jessie J is reportedly set to start penning an autobiography, which will re-tell details of the star’s rise to fame – including life-threatening health scares she suffered as a young child.

British tabloid paper The Sun says that Jessie will recount stories from her past, which includes writing tracks for superstar Miley Cyrus and her time at London’s infamous Brit School, as well as some of the darker parts of her life.

The Sun also reports that the ‘Price Tag’ singer has signed a deal with publishing company Simon & Schuster, though they added that there was currently no expected release date.

Jessie J recently signed up as a judge for BBC’s brand new X-Factor style singing program The Voice, where she’ll decide the fates of hopefuls alongside will.i.am, The Script’s Danny O’Donoghue, and Sir Tom Jones – who recently claimed that talent-show mogul Simon Cowell was not fit to judge people’s singing talent.

The Welsh legend said: “I watched other talent shows and I thought: Now hang on a minute. How can this person, not mentioning any names, but how can he or she give singers advice if they’ve never gone through it themselves?

I think you have to have stood up on that stage and gone for auditions, and be able to take the ‘You were great but no, thank you.’ You have to be able to take that. And you have to have experienced that to be able to do it.”

Jessie J has a small handful of gigs coming up this spring and summer. Check the link below to find out more.
