Brooklyn’s indie-rock trio We Are Augustines have released their debut album ‘Rise Ye Sunken Ships’ via their own label Oxcart Records last week – and have now lined-up a short run of dates in May to celebrate.
The band lit up the SXSW Festival in Austin, Texas last week with a massive performance and have performed various gigs and secret acoustic shows across the country - now they’re currently taking their energetic live set around the US touring with Band of Skulls.
Once they have played at California’s Coachella Festival in April, We Are Augustines will return to British shores in the first week of May to tour the UK – the dates of which you can see below. A show in London’s Dingwalls sold-out almost instantly – so make sure you grab your tickets quick.
The three-piece had a full day recording at the legendary Abbey Road studios in Maida Vale, London this month and recorded some footage to discuss the making of debut album ‘Rise Ye Sunken Ships’ and the journey they have endured over the last year. You can check the video out below.
