Deadmau5 Rolling Stone Cover Design Competition Winner Unveiled

Can you imagine entering a design competition for your favorite DJ and it ends up on the cover of Rolling Stone?
In Summer 2011, deadmau5 and Talenthouse launched a worldwide search inviting fans to submit their most creative and unique mau5head designs. Unknown artist, Lance Thackeray from East Yorkshire, UK, entered his first competition ever and was 1 of 2000 submissions. Lance won and his design was picked by deadmau5 himself!
Lance got to meet deadmau5 and attend his live performance in New York City’s Roseland Ballroom, featuring his winning mau5head creation. A year later it has come full circle: deadmau5 is featured on the cover of Rolling Stone’s summer music issue in Lance's design.
This story is a testament to how an unknown artist can be given a life changing opportunity by an established talent in partnership with Talenthouse; Talenthouse is a platform that hosts competitions in design, photography, music, in conjunction with renowned artists.
